Huddersfield becomes the first team to be relegated from EPL 2018/19

Six matches still to be played for the club from West Yorkshire, Huddersfield Town FC becomes the first team to be relegated from English Premier League 2018/19 season.

Promoted into the top tier only last season, the league had been brutal for them. Finished 16th last season, they could finish probably at 20th this time. They join not-an-elite list with Derby County (in 2008) having relegated with still 6 games left.

Season so far: Comparison of various metrics and few statistics so far this season. Just 3 wins and 5 draws from 32 games played put them with 14 points. Two of the wins come defeating Wolves both at home and away ; and defeating Fulham at home.

I believe Jan has made a big impact on the First Team already. He’s made some big decisions and has shown a real understanding of putting the Club first, before everyone else. I’m very pleased with the work he has put in and I’m genuinely excited to see what his team will look like after a full pre-season. The Board of Directors is fully behind Jan as the man to take us forward.

What they can offer in the next six games will be interesting to watch out for with nothing to lose? Can they cause some upsets and take someone down along with them.
